During colour group focus time, the Crocodiles children spend 15 – 25 minutes with a teacher, exploring through a combination of *play* and *focused teaching* a variety of topics linked to the EYFS developmental areas. The aim of this session is to provide some directed teaching, support children’s learning in specific areas, and to repeat on a regular basis the same sessions, so that over time they become familiar with the topics and meet the learning intentions. It is also good practice to repeat the sessions on different days in English and Hebrew.
