We would be delighted to welcome you to our next Rainbow Tour; to come and view the nursery, and hear about what we do… and how we do it! We also offer tours on Zoom, for those who cannot come in person to the building.

The tours are relevant to all families considering Rainbow, including children of all ages between 0-5 years.
During the tour
The tour will last about 3 hours. The first two hours will include a detailed explanation of what we do and how we do it! It includes the following topics:
- The Rainbow Story – where we came from and why!
- Opening times and days
- Age groups, and units
- Colour groups and key workers
- The bilingual nature of the provision
- Staffing, including ratios, background and training
- The EYFS and our approach to planning, observing, children’s next steps
- Home visits and settling in
- The daily routines
- Food, snacks and weaning
- Sleeping and resting
- Promoting independence
- Parent communication
- Behaviour management
- Valuing diversity
- Vaccinations
- When your child is sick!
- What to bring… and what we supply
- How we celebrate; birthdays, festivals and cultural events
- Parking
During face-to-face tours, the last hour will provide you with the opportunity to chat informally to practitioners from the gan, and will be led around the building in pairs to see the facilities at Yavne.
After the tour, whether Zoom or Live, we will send you an expression of interest form. After receiving this form back from you, we will schedule a family interview with you on a 1:1 basis; following this, for all families who we accept, we will provide you with the registration documents, if you wish to proceed.
