We then looked at all the parent comments from the survey, which were provided on small flash cards. The cards are available below as a download if you wish to review them. We considered the things that are important to parents, this included the following:
What’s important to parents:
- They know about what their child is doing at gan, and about the plans, activities and what goes on in the classrooms during the day
- They recognise and have some personal interaction with all the staff in the room with their child
- That their child is well taken care of, has a clean nappy, well fed with nutritious food
- That there is stability or easy transitions between staff/changes
