Parents are required to provide the following items to The Nursery:
- Milk
- Nappies
- Bed sheets and blankets
- Sunscreen
- Changes of Clothes
- Inside and Outside footwear for children aged over 12 months
- Footwear during the winter/wet months with a rubber sole
Parents are required to ensure that we have a sufficient supply of these items, and may check with staff on pick up and drop off that
It is the staff’s responsibility to inform parents if any of their provisions are running low during the week. This should be done by sending a voice or text note via WhatsApp during the working day, giving 1 – 2 days notice of new supplies that are required.
Where parents have not provided sufficient provisions for their children, such as sheets, nappies or milk, this should be reported to the team leader, and the manager if it continues to occur. The parents need to be contacted by the team leader. Charges of 50 ILS per item will apply where the nursery provides these essential items (milk 50 ILS per bottle, Nappies 50 ILS per nappy).
Where parents consistently do not provide nappies or other relevant supplies after two reminders, they should be contacted during the day to come and change their child, and bring the relevant supplies that are needed for their safe care.
Parents have access to the webpage, ‘What to Bring’ for a full explanation of how to supply items to The Nursery, and which arrangements to follow
Sheets should be returned to parents on a Thursday afternoon at pick up. If sheets become soiled during the week, they should NOT be washed in the gan, but returned home to the parents to wash.
