Ordering Supplies and Resources

Fruit and Vegetables

These are provided ‘fresh from the field’ – we usually have a delivery every Sunday and every Tuesday to each site. However, someone needs to actively make the order in order for them to be delivered. We can order anytime up to midnight the day before we need it, and the delivery should arrive at 8am or before the following day. Ordering must be done by text message, and should be in Hebrew. Please nominate someone from each group to put in the fruit and vegetable order. Phone number 053 773 3377

Bread

Bread needs to be purchased daily or every second day at each gan. It should be while grain bread, made with Brown flour. One person should be nominated from each gan to purchase the bread, ideally on their way into work. Bread money should come from Petty Cash.

Groceries and household supplies

This category includes all non-perishable foods, general supplies such as gloves and cleaning products. Orders are all placed by the administrator, on the second and forth Monday of every month, and should therefore arrive on the Wednesday.

There is a Whatsapp group called ‘What we need’ – and all requests should be placed onto this group.

Art Supplies

There is an art supplies co-ordinator based at Pre-school. The co-ordinator books a monthly visit from an art van, which contains all supplies. The art van is operated by Lidan, and his phone number is 052 444 2275

The co-ordinator will send out a message a few days before the van arrives and ask for all staff to request what they need. However, if you have an urgent need for some art materials, or you want something that may not be for sale from the van, with permission from the manager, any staff member can purchase appropriate resources from the petty cash. There is no minimum spend on the Art Van, so – if required we can request additional visits.
