Dear Parents,
It is unbelievable that another year is already drawing to a close… but here we are!

If your child’s name is not on the list, it is because we did not receive back a registration from you, and so your last day at Rainbow will be Friday 12th August. A reminder that we are closed on Thursday 11th August.
For children who are staying with us next year, you will join the new classes from Sunday 14th of August. At this stage we have not yet allocated staff to the new classes, and are sad to be saying goodbye to some of our team at the end of the year. As soon as a staffing plan is in place, we will communicate it to you!
As we draw closer to the start of next year, we will send out more detailed information to include staffing, day schedules and plans, details of the classroom and routines.
Viewing the new classrooms:
You will have the opportunity to see your child’s new classrooms at the following times:
Pandas – Wednesday 17th August at 8am – 8:45am
Crocodiles – Thursday 18th August at 8am – 8:45 am
Armadillos – Friday 15th July at 12:00 – 12:45pm
Leopards – Friday 15th July at 9:40 – 10:25
Giraffes Red group – Friday 15th July – 10:30 – 11:00
Giraffes Blue group – Friday 15th July – 11:15 – 11:45
Please make a note of these times and dates in your diary!
Completing the CIF (Children’s Information Form):
Each year, you are required to complete a new CIF. This is a form, which contains all the relevant information we need to hold about your child and your family in order for us to provide effective care and support. The CIF also helps us to determine other information, for example if there is a war or lockdown, which parents are in jobs that are legally designated as essential workplaces, and would therefore need emergency care during such times.
In order to complete the CIF, you will need:
- a clear photo of your child (where they will be able to recognise themselves, and the staff will recognise them… head and shoulder shots are best)
- a family photo which includes all the parents of the child, and any brothers or sisters (and pets if you want!).
- any essential factory/workplace certificates for your workplace, if this is relevant to you
The deadline for completing the CIF is Sunday 10th July. It is essential that you complete the form by this date, so that we can prepare all the signage for the classroom, name tags for the pegs, family pictures for the gallery in each class, and classlists of allergies etc. We cannot start the preparations of these things, until every single form is completed… so please please please don’t let your form be the one that holds up our work! Authorised people to pick up your child from Nursery:
This is a change in procedure from this year! There is a new procedure for registering people authorised to pick up your child. You will need to complete a form for every person who you authorise to pick up your child. You can add to this at any time during the year.
