Bags-update

We can long longer accept backpacks, and bulky bags on a Sunday with children’s sheets and belongings in.

Because of a new regulation, we are no longer allowed to use elevated changing tables to change the children’s nappies on (with the exception of the Frogs class). The new regulation states that children’s nappies must now be changed on a changing area, on the floor. As we create new changing corners in the bathrooms, and hygiene corners in the classrooms, we are loosing space previously used underneath the changing tables where we stored bags.

So that we do not have to allocate children’s play areas to bag storage, we must reduce the amount of space required for bag storage. And, so we are now insisting that ‘weekly bags’ will be made of material (like tote bags) and are without zips and out compartments. So they can be stored flat, or folded without taking up classroom space.

We have ordered branded Rainbow Bags, which you may wish to use for the purpose of Sunday bags. You can easily write your child’s name on the bag in the space we have provided. The bags are 15 ILS each. Please just give 15 ILS in cash at the door, and the person on door duty (at the beginning or end of the day) will happily swap your 15 ILS for a bag.

From Sunday 5th Feburary, we will no longer accept bulky bags, and we will ask you to take them home with you if you arrive with such bags.

Wet bags should still be used as normal. Wet bags are the only bags that should go back and forth to gan on a daily basis.

Thanks for your understanding.
