We do not have any parking facilities available for parents.
We ask all parents to arrive to the gan by sustainable means, rather than by private car. This includes; walking, cycling, scooting, using public transportation or a combination of these.
If you absolutely cannot avoid arriving by car, then it is vital that you use a public parking lot, or park on Blue and White street parking if you have the valid permit to do so.
Here is a list of public, nearby parking lots

Inconsiderate and illegal parking can have a devastating impact on the gan, and ultimately lead to our permanent licence being denied by City Hall
Here is a reminder of what the gan terms and conditions say. All parents will have signed these:
By signing this Agreement, the Parents undertake to use public transportation or travel by foot, bicycle or another sustainable/environmentally friendly mode of transportation wherever possible. If the Parents uses a private car, the Parents undertake to park or stop the car legally during pick up and drop off, and use designated public parking facilities… Failure to comply with any of these undertakings in this Section 14 may result in immediate Termination of the Agreement and the forfeiture of the Deposit
The neighbours take pictures of cars stopping and send to the Tel Aviv planning committee asking them to not grant a permanent license because of the horrible parents cars ruining the neighbourhood
This is why we put inside your terms and conditions that any instance of illegal parking (ie – not in a designated parking space) can result in immediate termination of your place at gan.
This is so that we can keep operating.
It is important that everyone picking up or dropping off children are familiar with these rules, including babysitters, and most importantly grandparents!
Here is a short list (not exhaustive!) of things we ask you NOT to do:
- Park or stop the car on Red and White
- Block a neighbour’s parking, even if there is no-one trying to coming out
- Ask ‘permission’ from the shop next door to park illegally or across their drive
- Leave someone in the car whilst illegally parked or stopped, and think that this is OK, because ‘someone is in the car’
- Stop ‘just for a minute’ to let someone in or out
- Mount the pavement with your car, or stop anywhere on the sidewalk
- Ignore the rules when it’s raining
- Park illegally around the corner or further up the road
- Think that your actions will affect only you, and not the entire gan – you are wrong!
- Think that just ‘one time’ is ok
Where parents violating these rules will receive a a strict warning notice, stating that you have violated your terms and conditions, and may also be immediately terminated from attending the gan.
You may only stop your car on Blue and White designated parking if you hold a permit, or in a parking lot or private parking space you have arranged to use.
If arriving by taxi, please ensure that your taxi stops in a designated and safe space, and not double parked, stopping the traffic in the road, or pulled up on the pavement/sidewalk. Please take care to ensure that taxis do not stop over neighbour’s driveway or block anyone in. Even for a minute. This may mean that you are unable to stop directly outside when arriving by taxi, and may need to walk around a corner.
Thank you for your understanding, and co-operation with keeping the gan open, by following these rules.
