From time to time, we are able to offer short term stays in the gan, if a place is available. A short term stay is up to 3 months. For new children who have never attended Rainbow before, we will accept for a minimum of 4 weeks as part of a short term stay, and for returning children, we will accept for a minimum of 2 weeks. Generally we do not accept short term places in the later half of August, unless the short term placement includes September and beyond.

Short term stays are only possible if there is a current space in the child’s class group, and we have availability. For short term stay families, we offer a ‘play date’ instead of a home visit on the first morning of attendance. The key worker for your child will leave the gan and come to play with your child and you nearby the gan in a park, to get to know them 1:1. During this time, they will complete the HOW TO CARE FOR ME record, and then introduce the child to the gan and the class. The first week will usually consist of shorter days, whilst your child adjusts to their short stay with us.

A registration fee of 500 ILS is payable for short stays, plus a weekly fee of between 1,700 ILS and 2000 ILS depending on the hours you wish to attend.
